Bamboo are excited to announce that you can now borrow up to £8,000 with a guarantor loan Rep APR 49.7%.
Introduced this week, the new limit is a great way for you to borrow anywhere between £1,000 and £8,000, even if you’ve got a poor credit score or no repayment history at all.
What is a guarantor loan and why choose a guarantor loan?
If you’re not sure what a guarantor loan is, be sure to check out our quick guide – but in a nutshell, it’s the same as any other loan, except that you get somebody to vouch for your ability to make the loan repayments.
This way, even if you’ve got a CCJ or a poor credit score, you could still be eligible to borrow up to £8,000. By extending the amount to £8,000 for a period of between 1-5 years, we are now enabling you to borrow more money, for longer periods of time, than many alternatives.
The rates for guarantor loans are better than most other loans aimed for people with poor credit ratings which makes them a feasible solution. Also keep in mind that once you have your guarantor loan and you’re making your repayments, this can help you build up a credit history or start to repair your credit score.
If you’re thinking of becoming a guarantor, make sure that you’re clued up on all that it involves by reading our handy guide.
